My classroom needs options for students! I teach in a Learning Center that provides individualized and small group instruction for students who need extra support. For many of them, sitting still in classrooms with hard plastic chairs is quite a challenge. A little bit of movement goes a long way in helping some students stay focused on their work! The chairs I would like to add to my classroom allow for bounce while also being stationary. They will provide students with opportunities to engage in movement while also continuing to work independently or with peers. Flexible seating allows students to find comfortable positions throughout the classroom. Comfortable students are more calm, focused, and productive!
