These materials will help our students to improve their reading skills in order to succeed at their grade level. When placed in a format that is entertaining and focused in a way that is geared to the adolescent reader they become more engaged. Students want materials that are relevant to their lives. It will improve student engagement in the classroom and improve their learning experiences beyond our walls. Students in my class are constantly singing the latest and greatest song. If they could use that same excitement for a content related song so they can improve their scores, then I'll be a happy camper.

About my class
