These headphones will make a HUMONGOUS difference in our Inner-City, Urban Students' Educational careers, growth, and futures. The problem that we face is: Our district provides us with 10 ipads per each second grade class. Each second grade class consists of 22 students. We have a total of 44 second graders and only 20 ipads and zero compatible headphones. The district has put ipad cases on our ipads that make headphone use difficult. We can only use headphones with skinny, straight-lined adapters/jacks in order for us to actually utilize sound on the district supplied ipads/ipad protective cases without disrupting others. I had no idea, but it is very difficult to find headphones with straight lined/thin adapters/jacks. Most headphone jacks will not plug into our ipads because of the protective, district mandated cases. Our students use the Ipads for state math & reading assessments, research, reading support, and countless academic activities. Unfortunately, without sound and without disrupting the learning of others, it is quite difficult for our students to utilize the Ipads as much as we would like them to without sound and without headphones. These headphones will make such a difference and especially help our students who cannot read.
