Every year we have a fun in the sun activities for our first graders. I need more activities for my students to use. The things that I order will truly make this experience fun and exciting for them. Most of our students do not get to experience playing outside due to the area in which they live. The go home and remain inside due to the unsafe neighborhood. These games and activities will help them learn how to play fair and learn sportsmanship. I took a class survey and found out most of my students don't play physical games. They only play video games and watch television. When I was a child we played connect four, dominos. life, checkers and other board games. This will help develop social skills, coping with winning or losing as well as collaborating with each other. I feel that these skills help children at the elementary level grow and become productive adults. Thank you
