When reading a book, wouldn't you like to have a nice comfortable setting? One where you can choose to relax and fully enjoy learning something new? So would my second graders! By adding these supplies to my classroom environment, you are giving my students different options to choose where they want to learn. Every child has different needs in how they learn. I am allowing them to make these choices in order to better enhance their focus and learning success. In second grade, my students love to read and need to get moving around the room. Lets give them some options other than at their desk!
