These devices will be used in four different grade levels. Our school is implementing a club day and ours is called the Mileage Club. It is a purchased program by the teachers facilitating the club in each of their grade levels. An additional expense is the technology side of the program that we are requesting to assist in running the program. It will provide weekly lessons, activities, home connection ides as well as the database to store each student's running and walking statistics as they scan their code every time they complete a lap. Each student will set activity goals that will be monitored and adjusted as the year goes on. The device will also keep a running record of their total progress throughout the year.
