Having comfortable headphones to use as my students are on their Chromebooks will help keep them from being distracted from noises coming from talking classmates or mowers/blowers from outside the classroom. By using headphones, my students will be able to pay attention more to the programs that use audio presentations, especially my struggling readers who use audio to help them read. My students easily gets distracted from outside noise, and it makes it difficult for most of them to concentrate and get back to their tasks at hand once they are distracted (mostly from outside noise). My students would love to have comfortable headphones as the ones they are using right now are supposed to be for one-time use only. I have about five headphones I purchased from three years ago that has sounds coming from only one side now.
