This project will be helpful during math and science classes. I teach ESL and special education. These devices will be very effective for English Learners (ELs) with Disabilities who speak another language other than English at home. Many ELs have received formal education in their country in math, but the math vocabulary in English is difficult for students to understand especially as they solve word problems. These devices will be an essential tool so students can translate unknown words in English into their native language thus understand the problem. In science, these translation devices will support student reading of non-fiction texts. Specifically, as they read unknown science words in English, they can use these devices to translate from English to their home language.
