Technology is all around us in this exciting new age. I would like to bring all the benefits that technology has to offer to my students with in my classroom. With access to technology my students will be able to engage more actively in what once was a mundane task. Working with students who have Autism it can often be a challenge to get them engaged. With the aid of the tablets I am requesting my students will have access to exciting learning tools that will better allow them to learn math skills in a na exciting interactive way. With each student being able to have an individualized tablet that they can use I will be able to ensure that all my students are getting the diverse teaching that they need to meet them at their personal level and help them build their skills and knowledge not only in academic awareness but teach them the valuable life skills in using technology in everyday occurrences. The use of these tablets will help my students become interested learners.
