These items will allow my students to have full, hands on learning. I teach English language learners at this time and these Language Arts items will help these students manipulate words and sentences, which will lead to the writing process. The math manipulatives will also help those students struggling with basic numerical fluency. They need manipulatives that will allow them to directly see the correlations between numbers and their values. They will be used in a small group setting. Once they learn numerical fluency, they will better understand addition and subtraction, fact families and how to solve math problems. The science items will help the learning process in various STEM related activities.
