Labeling helps to create an environment that puts young children at ease and contributes to self-directed learning. Labeling helps children develop responsibility as they care for the materials providing a print-rich classroom environment and exposes children to reading in a functional way. By donating to our project, you will help to infuse our classroom environment with print, have children develop responsibility as they care for the materials they use and turn clean-up time into a valuable learning opportunity. Having an iPad will be used for professional development, e-portfolios of my students, and will come in in handy to take photos of my children as well as take photos of their work samples.
