The donations for this project will provide my students with additional seating options. I really believe that students do not need to seat only on their desk to read. By providing flexible seating options, they will be more engaged in the learning process and less disruptive of their peers. Our new reading program calls for centers and currently my students are only using our tables to work, I would like to provide them with a reading area that is comfortable to motivate them to do their best. Being comfortable is an essential component of reading and of the entire learning process. Also the optional seating is easy to move with and can be use in more than one area of the classroom.
