In my classroom I like to offer choices in comfortable seating. We have different preferences on where and what we sit on. Right now my students have hard chairs and desks. We do have some wiggle cushions that are popular. My plan is to offer a wider variety of seating and lessen the frustration of seating so that the students can concentrate more on their creativity and work. I want all my students to feel welcome and to feel like this is their classroom too. I also would like them to feel like they can also find an area of safety and calming.
