Recess is a fundamental part of the school day, especially for a kindergarten student. Adding additional swings to our school playground (which only has four) will give more students the opportunity to swing away and “swing time” would no longer be as limited and sought after. This addition would benefit both my students and all the other students in our school (approximately 360). Wow! More swing time would be wonderful, and I can just see how excitement will light up their little faces each day! Our school is currently in the fundraising process of adding additional playground equipment, but more swings are not included in the selected project. I hope that you will please consider helping to secure these for our precious students.
