My students lose time during the start of class looking for their appropriate materials. Due to the switching of classes, they are losing folders, notebooks, and assigned classwork in the midst of transitioning. Some students are switching to 3 out of the 4 third grade teachers in a day. So the organization is crucial for these kiddos to be successful in their day to day learning. I’ve used seat sacks in the past for my struggling learners. I have witnessed how these organizational aids help build confidence for students that are so used to losing their supplies because they haven’t had guidance on how to manage their materials. I believe all my students could benefit from these seat sacks.
