Since many of our students walk, backpacks are extremely helpful in making sure they can keep up with their supplies/books to complete their studies. Although our parents are very supportive of their child's learning, many are struggling to put food on the table, so backpacks are often a luxury. If they have backpacks, some are hand me downs or are a few years old and falling apart. We try to fix them with duct tape or sew the handles back on but eventually they are too worn out to be repaired. We are always asking for friends and family to give us gently used backpacks (and will continue to do so) but those are gone as quickly as we get them. So this year we are asking for your help to fulfill a need for our students. We researched this brand and liked that there were multiple colors for students to choose from and good reviews too. Help us give our kids their own backpacks they can carry with pride.
