My project is an intentional effort to make learning engaging while keeping the content at the forefront of the lesson. While I recognize the importance of core subjects such as math, reading, social studies & science, I also recognize the need for students to have skills such as communication, creativity, collaboration & critical thinking in order to succeed in a 21st-century workforce. With this project,​ 100% of funded students will use iPod touches to implement robots & coding in their learning as well as other technology-enhanced learning apps. We will connect coding skills to content learned in the classroom, & students will be able to take ownership of their work by learning experiences that showcase student voice & community-supported work samples.
