The following project has proven to create life long skills in my students. Students in my past classes have often cited this project as one that has had the greatest impact to their college studies. Students will be broken into groups and assigned a chapter from both novels. Students will be asked to break down the chapter and apply the information reviewed in the text on several works covered in class. Student groups will produce a Power Point reviewing the chapter as well as put together and give a quiz on the content covered in their presentations (to keep the rest of the class engaged). For the artistic student in the group, student groups will be asked to produce a poster the reflects the topics and information covered in the chapter. This could be represented in collage form or any other visual depiction the material covered in the chapter. Student groups will be assessed as a group and individually.
