My goal is that students will be able to use this technology to help them show mastery of NVACS writing standard W.1.6 - produce and publish writing using a variety of digital tools. iPads are one of the best tools to help my students achieve mastery of this standard as they are very user friendly and engaging for first grade learners. The use of educational typing and video apps will engage my students in the writing process. Though writing is often considered a tough subject, the iPad technology integration will excite my learners and encourage them to explore varied digital tools!
