These materials will make a difference in my students learning by giving them opportunities to practice and apply important foundational mathematical skills through game based learning. Students will use the Osmo Wizard Game Bundle to incorporate STEAM into math workshop which will help students engage in their learning through play. The games will focus on foundational skills, such as, addition and subtraction with a focus on place value, mental math, measuring, estimating, and building a foundation for multiplication. This will also provide students with opportunities to practice the four C's (communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity).
