This document camera will allow me to project texts and learning materials onto a whiteboard, enabling students to interact with the text directly on the whiteboard, thereby enhancing the visual supports and scaffolds so necessary for ESL students to be successful in not only learning a new language but also attaining academic content at their grade level. The seating will allow students to sit in the projection area properly supported, making visibility optimal. Primary level students often lack the core strength needed to sit up attentively for a period of time and these seats will support their core as they interact with text in the projection area. The magnetic letters will also be used as they gain English words and learn to read and write them within the projected text.
