Nearly all students in my Freshman Social Studies West Bronx class are from low-income households, as such not all parents are afforded the opportunity to purchase basic supplies to allow their children to be prepared for school. Since we know preparedness is the key to successful student outcomes, these supplies will go a long way. Supplies will assist in learning goals and outcomes for students as they embark on a successful ninth grade exploration through the learning process. These supplies will allow us to leave actionable feedback as they use pens and pencils and paper to be prepared for class.

About my class
