These books will continue to encourage my students in looking for high interest books with stories that take them into new worlds of perspectives and imaginations during novel studies. My goal is to promote literacy and expose them to examples of great writing techniques, styles, vocabularies and different genres to continue their love of reading. In addition, these books will also allow me the opportunity to tie in critical thinking skills and raise thoughtful questions. As a result, this collection of books will give me the opportunity to assign writing projects and daily journal entries to expand and develop my students' writing skills.

About my class
