Books shouldn’t be daunting, they should be funny, exciting and wonderful; and learning to be a reader gives a terrific advantage.” – Roald Dahl My great passion in life is connecting my students with books that they love. The books selected here will help me do just that. These high-interest books will help us build a robust, accessible, and diverse classroom library for my voracious readers. It is only October, and my students have already read most of the books in our classroom library. Unfortunately, we do not have a library at our school, so my students depend almost entirely on our classroom library for their independent reading. The love reading, but often get discouraged by the lack of high-interest books available to them. Please help them continue to grow their love of reading by donating to this project.
