Having a projector helps me provide my students with visual engagement for several purposes. At the beginning of each school day, I need to be able to project our school's morning broadcast for daily announcements and for the Pledge of Allegiance. We use it to project the math homework assignment as we self correct for deeper leaning. We also use it to project engagement strategies for daily math lessons. We can project modeled examples of all kinds of school work to promote clear expectations. Another benefit is to support both Science and Social Studies tasks and videos and for occasional entertainment purposes.
