I look forward to working with the students at my school each day! Each one possesses unique strengths and interests. They are eager to learn and need the support and positive environment to become their best selves. The items I have chosen will enable me to provide a safe and comfortable space for my students when they are in need of a retreat; to be able to regroup and ready themselves once again to learn. It is to be an inviting, supportive space for each one who steps into my office. As my students learn and grow academically, I not only want to support them emotionally, but also want to provide them with an atmosphere that will aid in their clarity of thought and positive decision making, a place to practice their mindfulness techniques. There are times when students get overwhelmed and anxious from the stresses they may encounter. Learning to handle and manage their frustrations in a space that is free of judgement that allows them to reflect and regroup is important to the students' overall success. I ask that you help me to create the place and space that will enable this growth and development.
