STEM is on the move in our classroom. We are ready to dive into our new science curriculum. To explore the laws of motion, we will use the engineering roller coaster. Experimenting with magnets will help my students discover how non-living things can be moved. A mobile STEM station cart will help us store science materials that will motivate my students. The fairy tale STEM kits will help integrate science and literature. Survive the Quake will help my students understand how rocks and soil shift. This will build their understanding of the faults that run along the Wasatch mountains where we live.
