Students work in math and reading programs using their Kindles. Very few of them brought their headphones, so more than half of my students have to lower the volume so they don't distract the rest of the class. If ALL students get their headphones, they will work on their programs focused on their learning, because they will not be worried about distracting the rest of the students. Also, students in elementary just have a need to sharpen their pencils daily; therefore, I am requesting a heavy-duty sharpener so it can help them be prepared daily with their pencils sharpened.
