My students absolutely LOVE using manipulatives in math, which is essential at the beginning of the school year. My first graders are sharpening their addition and subtraction skills. I want them to learn the basics and be able to begin practicing these new skills with the help of manipulatives. My students are very hands-on, visual learners and I would like to provide them with what they need to be successful! They love using rekenreks, which is a fabulous math resource, especially for counting! The only issue is that I only have three of these to share - among 26 students! Any help would be appreciated!!
