Students are often embarrassed of wearing the same dirty clothing to school. They will keep heavy winter jackets on all day to keep others from seeing what they have on. It is a worry that can be easily fixed. If teachers had access to a washer and dryer students would have access to clean clothing on a daily basis. We have a clothing closest of donated items available for students; however, we need to be able to wash the donated items before students wear them. In the past we had a washing machine and dryer. With time and wear they quit working and were removed from the school. Since that time we do not have the means to provide the help to our students.
