My amazing students are gifted in music theory. They understand and are able to read through basic music notation. To take their education to the next level, they need experience with playing the instruments and reading music together. They deserve to fully comprehend what it is to be a musician. My eager students beg for the opportunity to have more hands on experience in their music class. With this, I completely agree. A hands on educational experience is wanted and needed from both the students and myself. I am requesting boom whackers and bells which will provide my students with hands on experience in reading and playing music that they crave. This can supplement the need for them to have a more hands on educational experience. The music theory boards will provide a more focused and individualize theory and composition experience for my students. They will be able to work together or individually on composition pieces. Although these materials will not be used for at-home learning, it will help my classes with 20+ students get the experience that they deserve.
