Many of our high school students have not had the opportunity to plant, cultivate and grow a garden in their lives, since the majority of our student body comes from low income families. The students are extremely bright and hard-working, and strive to make a difference in their community. Our greenhouse and garden project will inevitably generate great excitement in the Biology classroom and throughout the community. The students will jump at the opportunity to take ownership of their learning and the planting and cultivation of the plants, produce and flowers in the school greenhouse and garden.

About my class
