Right now we currently have one Osmo in our classroom that we are borrowing from the library, yet we have one-to one iPads in our classroom. One Osmo does not go a long way with 19 students in a classroom. Osmo enhances our math curriculum, Math Expressions, as Math expressions aligns with different games on Osmo. Through using Osmo, students can practice multiplication using Osmo numbers along with practicing their fraction and money skills in the Osmo Pizza Company game. Students work together to complete these activities as they build their problem solving and collaboration skills. Through Osmo words, students can build their literacy skills as well, as they build words in an engaging and hands-on way. This will increase their vocabulary and spelling skills.
