This year's beginning band classes set a new record of 162 students. And I had to check out a few instruments that need to be retired. They actually had been retired because of irreparable damage and age. I am in need of two trumpets and one flute. These students will benefit by having a functioning instrument to play in the beginning band. I have 3 students playing on instruments that have outlasted their useful lifetime. Now they are past repair and I do not have functioning instruments to have these students play. These students are part of our program and need instruments to continue growing and enjoying band class. We are in dire need of these instruments for these students to progress and participate in our class. These instruments from Woodwind and Brasswind would be perfect for our students.
