Exposing students to games they will encounter at social events like tailgates, picnics, college outings, or just family fun will empower them to participate with confidence. This equipment, like disc golf and bocce ball, would allow the students to learn the rules, etiquette, and benefits from simply getting outside and participating with others in a variety of environments. Boosting their confidence and likelihood of participation in these activities after graduation. We would use this equipment in a "Tailgate and Social Games" unit focusing on the students working together, enjoying friendly competition, and learning activity skills.
