We have an enthusiastic, creative group of students. Our students love reading, sharing ideas with their peers (especially with their math partners), and the opportunity to express themselves through the arts. The surf lap desks would provide our students with flexible seating options that will meet their individual needs, foster collaboration, and create a comfortable inviting learning environment. Students will be making use of alternate seating throughout the school year. Since the items in our project are stackable, it allows students to quickly set up areas with ease and gives us the flexibility of reconfiguring the space as needed. Our students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less distracted by their peers when they are given a choice of where to work. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will also ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
