I feel that the library is a place to help promote the enjoyment of reading to children. I am trying to improve the library's environment to reinforce this belief. These items will help to improve the library by making it more welcoming and enjoyable. With my younger students, I read a story to them and then have them make a craft that goes with the story. The art supplies will help me have more fun options that the students can do during this time in library while the floor seats, wobble cushions, and chair bands, will help to make a more comfortable space for the students while they are in the library.
