These materials will help build gardens around our campus that students and teachers will get to help create and sustain. The seeds, tools and soil will get us at a good starting point! Classes will be held outdoors at these gardens, lessons can be based on observing and studying the gardens, and a sense of responsibility and pride will be instilled in our students that will be caring and learning from the gardens. The gardens will create a sense of community among the students/staff, families and neighborhood volunteers. They will also give the school a refresh, a splash of color, and more butterflies!
