My students are hungry for new information. They want to know what is going on outside of their community. Many of them have never traveled outside their neighborhood. By having electronic devices, Kindle Fires, in my room I will be able to take "interactive" tours of museums, countries, and something as simple like local government offices. My "goal" is to have them compete with surrounding areas that find having a laptop as "basic" resource when my students will find it as a luxury . We are going through a tough time in which my students need to know their rights or need to know how to become civilized citizens of this country
