I often write notes on the board or smartboard. Students who are not able to see the board come to the front of the room and sit on the floor so they can copy their notes. I would like to get cushions for these children so they are not sitting on a hard floor while copying down their notes. I know they would really appreciate this small addition to our classroom! Being able to be comfortable while sitting on the floor be it for copying notes from the board or for picking a quiet spot to read so essential for student learning. Sitting at desks all day long isn’t good for anyone. Moving around and stretching your legs helps students focus better. I hope that these cushions help students feel comfortable in their classroom!
