Students will use the LEGO kits to investigate force and motion through the use of simple and powered machines.This will make a difference in students learning by allowing them to make real world connections. In doing so the students will connect and construct using a hands on method. The modification of the machines will demonstrate to students how these machines can be improved. The students willl be in pairs and will work together on creating the assigned machine. The finished project is them assembled and the testing begins. I believe this will enhance my science instruction beyond the traditional textbook.
