The tangible rewards and treats will motivate my students to become scholar readers. Let’s admit, everyone likes a “pat on their backs.” Providing them with tangible treats and rewards will encourage them to want to read because they have something attached to it. We know every kid loves food. So what better way to motivate and encourage students to increase their engagement in reading. This will help them keep their attention and engagement of their Reading Plus online lessons, as well as be encouraged to come to class to read complex text. Your donation will help me tremendously with my goal to motivate my ninth graders to read with intention and deliberateness.
