I want my students to be able to practice mindfulness wherever they may go. Mindfulness is something everyone is capable of doing but sometimes we just don't know how to use it. The material I am asking for are what will help my students become more mindful with the sense of sight, sound, and smell. The strategies I will teach support the profound and positive effects that mindfulness strategies have on children. With this project, I will help my students calm down and relax in tough situations. We will do exercises for mindfulness at home, school, and with friends. These resources will help me conduct a yoga class. Which will improve on students memory function as well as academic performance. This yoga class will also improve students attention span and focus. Providing tools that support students in bringing yoga and mindfulness into the classroom and home. This project will contain fun and interactive mindfulness lessons to increase focusing abilities and bring awareness to range of feelings.
