Having the XLERATOR hand dryer will encourage my students to wash their hands. Most dont use the old, slow hand dryers that are currently in the school bathrooms. They exit the restrooms with either unwashed hands or hands dripping with water that they proceed to dry on their shirts or pants. As we encourage the students to wash their hands and use the new dryer, we will develop good habits in them and stop or slow the spread of germs. Trying to get them to use the old dryers is fighting a losing battle. And I can go back to high fives instead of the neater fist bumps!
