We need stools for our small group instruction table! During independent reading and writing workshop, I pull students in small groups in order to help students in areas they are struggling, conference about books, and provide extra instruction. Sometimes, this looks like pulling four or five students to do a mini-lesson on a grammar concept, and sometimes this looks like holding a mini-discussion on where we are in our books! Often, this small group instruction is where the "a-ha!" or light bulb moment happens for our students. Currently, our small group table is without seating and so we have been unable to use that space effectively. By contributing to this project you will be helping provide seating for students for years to come!
