Technology is used in our classroom on a daily basis. We use our computers to complete assessments, curriculum-based activities as well as various other tasks. Headphones are a vital piece to have the computers run effectively (especially during stations while the teacher is trying to have a small group with other kids!) It is very distracting for myself and other students who can hear the computers talking to one student if the headphones are not working properly. A nice set of working headphones would be a very special gift. Technology has grown since we've been in kindergarten and tablets are a great way to keep the students engaged in a more excited and fun way to learn. There have been many educational apps to teach reading, math and other subjects focused on our curriculum and utilizing those on Tablets would be enjoyable for both the teacher and students!
