Building a strong and positive relationship with reading is my first priority with my students. These books will continue to enhance our classroom library and build those reading relationships. These titles have been thoughtfully chosen with my students in mind; I have observed what they like reading, I have consulted with a stellar middle school librarian, and I have found suggestions from The National Educational Association's book lists. Students will have the choice of what to read, which will help them continue to enjoy independent reading time. With these books, students will be able to choose from a variety of desirable titles that are suited for their personal reading levels. To become better readers, students need to read! These books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. This project will help to enrich their experiences with literature.
