Having a calming colors classroom carpet will provide the students a new and relaxing place to call their own. It will give each student their own square allowing them to feel like they have their own spot in our classroom. I know they would be so excited to have a new spot in the room for a cozy reading area as well as new places in the room for peer collaboration. As a teacher, I will have a new, inviting space to meet with smaller groups of kids to better meet their learning needs. This will not only benefit the students I have in my classroom this year, but for many years to come.

About my class
