I am hoping for larger tables for my classroom so that students have the works space, and personal space needed to work cooperatively while creating and constructing. Larger tables will allow students the room they need to work on art projects, STEM projects and complete literacy activities. Right now students are forced to complete all work on the floor of our classroom which leads to disorganization. It also leads to students handing in work that is not their best. Working on the floor doesn't allow students to work to their fullest potential. Larger tables would increase organizational skills. They would allow for more cooperative work times. They would allow students to demonstrate their best work. Larger tables would allow students the space they need to construct, create and innovate.
