Microphone systems are a critical component in theatrical productions as students learn to develop their voices. Without enough good working microphones, our audiences will not be able to hear the performers. By donating to this project, local audiences will be able to hear my students as they perform. They will also have the opportunity to watch the recording of their performances. The recording will serve as an archive for our theatre department. This school year, my student will focus on developing their skills as actors – the art of being present in the moment, of becoming another, of communicating clearly and truthfully, and of being committed to the work of acting. Ultimately your donation means my students will have access to learning how to use microphones, which is an essential component of the theatre arts, and their audiences will be able to hear them.
